What did the drummer get on his IQ test... drool.

I'm Tim van Dammen, a writer, producer and director from Auckland NZ.

My first feature film, Romeo and Juliet: A Love Song, which launched at the 2013 NZ film festival, combined Shakespeare, song and trailer trash. It was released throughout NZ cinemas and on DVD by Rialto.

In 2016 I was selected for the wonderful FilmUp Programme run by Script-to-Screen here in NZ.

In 2017 I was awarded a Seed Grant from the NZ Writer's guild for a script titled One Man's Peace.

In 2019 I directed some episodes of season two of Wellington Paranormal. A TV series spin-off of What We Do In The Shadows.
